Living in a hurricane-prone area of the country often means we have to evacuate, leaving us to wonder and worry about the state of the beach, wind speeds and gusts, weather conditions, and personal property. We are in the preliminary stages of investigating the purchase and installation of a weather monitoring station that will allow residents and visitors to keep tabs on weather-related situations even when they’re not in town!
